Thanks to its organic and smart shapes, Nature has always inspired designers, artisans and artists. Today Plastecnic draws on the perfection of Nature in order to create its new collection of Naturalia pots. The Company, leader for more than 55 years in the production of outdoor and indoor pots, has entrusted the project to the designer Marco Maggioni who claims three reports by the “Compasso d’Oro” and several collaborations with renewed international brands.In his personal research, Marco Maggioni creates everyday objects which become a source of new perceptual experiences, as they are full of positive influences and suggestions. Naturalia pots “bloom” in the air with their simple and lightweight geometries. Cubic and cylindrical pots become in movement thanks to elegant surface vibrations. The windy lines that emerge from the texture evoke the ribs of the leaves, creating an abstract pattern in a natural set. The collection presents two cylindrical Pots with diameters of 30, and 40 cm, a cubic pot cm 40x40 and one rectangular planter of cm 100 x40.The colors of stone, sand, clays, along with the white, offer a pleasantchromatic range. The matching saucers are designed “ad hoc” for the relative pots and they create, together with the cylindric or cubic pots, a new shape that results very elegant and essential.
